About us
We are a family company, based in Ramsbottom, Lancashire, working from home. I work with my mum - she started decorating cakes in the early 1980s and I followed suit by taking classes in 2004 after helping out with numerous cakes! We have completed many cakes between us, and it's something that we both love to do.
For a number of years I fitted cakes in around a part-time and then full time job in finance.... I was made redundant in late 2009 and decided to do what I love and bake full time! Since then the business has gone from strength to strength and I am now fortunate to be able to say love what I do for a living!
As we don't have the overheads of a shop to cover, we do try to make our prices as competitive as possible. All our sugar flowers and models are handmade by us and to your specification. We take pride in our work and understand that you expect to get good value for your money.
Working from home also means that we can arrange times to meet you that are outside normal shop hours. We are fully registered with the council as a food business and were inspected by Environmental Health in April 2010 - we're very pleased that they had no recommendations to make regarding our premises, methods or labelling.
We believe that we offer you a personalised service which will give you a design that you're happy with, co-ordinating with the rest of your celebration as required. We use quality ingredients in our cakes - butter, free range eggs and brand name cocoa powder to give examples. After all, design isn't everything....taste matters too!
